I thought their "Sky Crane" landing method was too far fetched, but it worked a treat!
Well done NASA. Amazing.
And to get pictures back within a couple of minutes of touchdown is also amazing.
They have a drone on board. Footage from that ought to be fantastic.
That’s Mars infected with COVID!
Amazing, just amazing. Big brains indeed.
Incredible engineering.
When do we see proper footage?
My youngest is absolutely taken by space engineering. He loves the ins and outs. He mentioned the landing and a lot of details during dinner this evening. He watched it and I saw a glimpse of it on his laptop screen.
Then it dawned on me: my wife and I are absolutely happy with his work ethic during all those 'school's closed' weeks here. He misses his friend, he wants proper education. Still he continues and make sure he doesn't fall behind. I feel sorry for him. So, when he watched the landing, I ordered this:
Because we admire his Perserverance!
Great picture of the landing from Nasa today.
Awesome.
Here is a history of the Mars Rovers, the presenter is very enthusiastic.

Wow. And you even see the sky-crane zoom off like something out of a sci-fi movie.
So clever my foot fell off.
