Lovely watch just a smidge big for me, why can’t they make them around 40mm

I'm surprised that they didn't choose to use cal 400 or a variation of it. Interesting dial though

I love my Aquis and admire what Oris do but I can’t keep up with what seems like a never ending stream of LE’s...

Lovely looking watch but I am getting seriously fed up with certain brands churning out endless "Limited edition" watches

Very nice, particularly the dial texture.

Nice release - is the bezel fixed or can it track a 3rd timezone..?

"798 features an independently adjustable 24-hour hand that can be used in conjunction with the 24-hour scale and complementary bezel to track additional time zones. "

^I’m asking about the bezel, not the gmt hand. If it’s fixed I don’t really see its point.

Had this in my basket twice this evening and bailed out both times! Love it but would feel guilty spending that much wonga on a watch when I have a bathroom to sort out.

On this watch, the unusual shape of the lugs makes it wear small. (I’ve a similar Oris diver, and it wears much smaller than the diameter would suggest.)

    Diameter isn’t everything

I am sick of all the limited editions also. All the brands are at it.

Well it spoke to me - so I bought it. It’s unique looking in a world of ubiquitous divers. Quite excited to see it in the flesh.

Nice! Did you manage a discount?

Was told if company can sell at full price then no discount as it’s Limited. I’m sure others with a long purchase history will get a bit shaved off.

Ah well. Would be interested in your views on the watch when you get it. Could push me over the edge into purchasing one myself!

I was looking at the reveal on a video on Scottish Watches earlier and they mentioned these guys - https://wallaceallan.co.uk/

At one point I had a pop up with a 10% discount code that got applied to this model that was in my basket.

They still seem to have stock and the code still works - LockDown10

I love it. Very different. Dial is stunning in person and actually not garish.
