    Introduction

    Hello everyone,

I heard that was quite appropriate to introduce myself on a new thread so there I am! 🙂

I'm Wandril, passionate about watches as well as in motorcycles and Martial arts amongst other things!

I've been contracting the watch disease 4 years ago and my journey has been taking me everywhere from seiko 5 and Orient watches all the way to Tudor, Omega speedmasters, through microbrands, affordable watches, and mid range brands.
It has led me to become a big fan of speedmasters, but mainly of german watches in general!
    Hanhart, Sinn, Damasko, Stowa, Laco...
That is where my heart is!
I'm happy to join the forum and to participate so I can carry on learning on this topic!

    Cheers!
    Wandril

Here are a few, but my collection is quite a mess at the moment as I've been selling/buying quite a bit.
The 103 is actually already gone and on the wrist of someone from the forum

Oh I forgot! Might be a bit cliché but true nonetheless, the watch disease did hit me first when I received my great grandfather Tissot 1930's pocket watch as a gift.
Made me realize I like a good heat blued handset on a watch!

    On peut citer Flaubert, aussi:

Welcome. That Timor in particular is very nice.

What happened to the Tissot pocket watch?

  18. #18
    Thank you!
As it's not really the kind of watch I'm wearing often, the tissot stayed in a box in France

Warm welcome Wandril. This place can be a little crazy sometimes. I really like that bronze (?) CW watch - tell us more if you like?

    Welcome.
As a (born and bred) Bristolian, it is also great to see more local watch lovers.
When we are allowed out and about again, we will be organising a few more RedbarBristol GTGs, it is a shame we only managed one before lockdowns started.
Lots to like in that collection.
    Dave

    Thank you Dave!
Nice to know I'm not the only one over there!
That would be nice yes, internet and forums like this one are quite helpful, but we're still missing some real life, real human interaction situations for sure.
Plus it's leaving us more time to think about watches, maybe even too much time sometimes This watch addiction is not getting any better!

Welcome to the forum. That is a nice collection, the Speedmasters are crackers and you've got a good selection of straps too.

  30. #30
    Thank you!
I actually have way too many straps but I have a hard time deciding which ones should go haha.
Definitely into leather straps, some bracelets, and canvas, natos in fairly dark colours
