Is the lume on the hands and on the indices the same exact color? In some photos it looks a bit darker on the hands

    Very nice, thanks.
Mine was supposed to arrive last thursday, but due to customs related delays it hasn't arrived yet.
I really can't wait to see more of the gilt since the purchase was based on just a couple of photos ahah

    Nice combo, wonder if it would suite this new Coyota colour NATO from CWC;

Still to get any shipping info on mine; hopefully this Monday/Tuesday, however I've just ordered from ebay a NOS Geckota vintage leather in black to try first.

New (old stock) Geckota leather strap for the Everest Gilt arrived lunchtime. Again like the Commando the bracelet was somewhat reluctant to come off and this time left a small mark on the back of a lug despite a bit of protective sticky tape.

Just installed a nice "true(ish)" rivet bracelet with MK1 36mm Everest end links:

This bracelet combination now has that nice vintage slender feel and rattle to it, (but no rattling end links!) which I love.

The original supplied bracelet is very nice in it's own right, but I find the milled rivet links to be a little too thick for the Everest. I do however, love the newly updated clasp, but unfortunately, it is not compatible with the bracelet I have just installed.

Overall, I'm very happy with this combination.

The watch now looks and wears almost identically to an early 1016:

    Have a great weekend everyone.

    Alpha Europe.

    However,

The end links supplied with the the Alpha rivet bracelet are folded and hollow, which are not a very good fit for the Everest case.

The new end links which are now supplied with the Timefactor's rivet bracelet, are not compatible with the Alpha rivet bracelet.

The only endlinks that fit the Alpha rivet bracelet nicely, are the end links supplied with a MK1 36mm Everest.

Why the supplied bracelet doesn't look like that is beyond me. Really nice mod, looks amazing.

yes, but in reality, on the gilt the hands have a more creamy lume, while the numerals are almost white. They don't match perfectly

Have to say, both of those leather straps looks great on it. The tan works well with gilt I think.

    Wondering what straps they are?
