That's a yes please from me too.

    I have a 40mm Armida A6 (I think) with gilt hands/dial that I've always wished could be a few mm smaller :-)

  13. #13
I think that looks great, and nice that you're expanding the range of this popular model.

The 2021 watch abstinence thread has to be rethinking their life choices. That is stunning.

I like it and prefer it to the Jubilee version, which is too "bling" for me. For this one, I'd either prefer old radium lume with the gold handset or else keep the current lume and revert to the standard handset and only have the gilt dial. I think it either needs to be more, or less.

Would have gone with this version had it been available when I purchased my current model late last year. However will not be flipping as I'm still more than happy with the Everest I have.

Liking this idea but as another poster has said, might be even better with silver hands and slightly aged lume with the gilt writing on the dial? :)

  25. #25
I'd hate that, aged lune urggh

Full gilt even the hands yes please

I'll be the odd one out, doesn't do it for me.. think the gold makes it look cheap.. the original is much cleaner.. just my 2 cents

That is a great shot. It makes the watch look very classic. I'm torn now. I was just praising myself this morning for not having bought a watch in 2021 (except for a £7 Casio) but now I'm sorely tempted. Eveny more so by the Commando, than the gilt dial.

    I do like that Eddie.

That’s a pleasant surprise Eddie, looks awesome. Very tempted by that gilt dial. Will it be a 300 order limit before cutting off orders?

I have to limit orders because whilst Shopify works much better that RomanCart, the authorisation to release payment only lasts for 7 days. I'm not supposed to release payment until I ship goods which is why the number of orders is limited to what I can pack in 7 days. Last time I opened I put in 7 consecutive 12 hour days and at my age, it takes its toll.

I also think a silver-hand option would be great.

Easy tiger, better a steady output for a long time to come than a sudden burst and burned out Eddie ;)
