Has anyone fitted a super oyster solid end link bracelet like the strap code type made for the Seiko skx013 (the end links are modern datejust style like the original bracelet on the 40mm Everest). I have seen one members success with an Uncle Seiko Jubilee. Please show and share any alternative oyster or jubilee alternatives that fit and work on the Everest/Expedition.

I had the Alpha oyster on mine. It has hollow endlinks which made the fitting easier.
After a couple of failed attempts, I found a compatible oyster bracelet on ebay.
I had to bend the end links quite a lot to make it fit though.
I don’t think finding one with solid end links will be an easy task because of the lug shape and the position of the holes.
I’m happy to share the details if anyone is interested, I’m not sure if posting ebay links here would be ok.
Sensational!

Imagine the new gilt dial with that acrylic
A mod too far for me I feel.
This is what I'm waiting for:

And you are, too. You just didn't know it.
Hi Gent
I wasn't being critical of your watch, it looks great. Im pretty sure you didn't think I was too. You know how pictures can make things look smaller or bigger some times.
I'll look in the IMGUR thing so I can post some pics too.
I have an 'end on' pic of a 1016 I tried on and the crystal look higher than I imagined.
I ordered both crystals, the HW and the ATCR Sternkreuz 31.4. To my eye, they have the same dome.
No of course, I didn’t think you were - just thinking that it really depends on the angle.
Here’s mine at a similar angle:
I’d say 99% of the time the crystal looks perfect, only at very specific angles can it appear excessively domed. Which is the same for every watch I’ve owned with an acrylic crystal.
Either way, it’s vast improvement on the looks of the sapphire for me

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I like the look of the original.

Thank you,
Same size, same brand but this is the reference without the tension ring. I think the dome is not very different, so somewhat dominant.
The clasp is similar to one on a modern Rolex with the quick adjust system but nowhere near the quality of the real deal. I think it is a little bit on the bigger size for this watch but do the work for now.

Thanks to Fogar’s recommendation I went for one of the eBay options. Well that works very nicely indeed...

Gent, that looks great! Could you take a pic of the under side where link meets watch head? Is it hollow link?
I am trying to see if it matches this one I found on Ali Express.
I tried eBay link from Fogar but too late...no longer in stock

The next batch won't have rivets.
Eddie
Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
This is wonderful news.I have tried many alternative bracelets without rivets but none (including ones shown in this thread) either match the quality or fit of the stock bracelet.I could not find any alternative with end links that truly matched the watch case no matter how much i tweaked them.I too hope the new bracelets may be available to buy .
After I bought one of the original batch with the vastly oversized parallel bracelet I hunted in vain for over a year for a slimmer replacement but there was nothing that suited, so it was worn on either leather or Nato. Then joy of joys the faux rivetted bracelet became available as an after market item. I may have to buy a spare now if they are to be discontinued.

Maybe others know this already but the stock bracelet for the MK1 36mm Everest accommodates many other bracelets. Say you use the MK1 end links from the original non rivet bracelet with the large quick adjust clasp, with the alpha 1993 bracelet you’ll find the links fit perfectly. The end links on the rivet bracelet though are slightly too narrow so won’t accommodate any after market bracelets I’ve tried so far. If you can find a spare MK1 bracelet I’d recommend picking one up if you like to try various oyster style bracelets.
Although with the new rivet bracelet I see no reason to change it. And now Eddie will be releasing a non rivet then everyone should be happy.

I am a huge huge fan of the current Rolex oyster bracelets. They are so simple and beautiful. I especially love the end links
I recently received the PRS-25 and I also really really like the bracelet. I even think the faux rivets look absolutely great, and better than the way Tudor executes them. FYI - the newer design does allow all the micro-adjustment holes to be used. The only thing I would change is to have a similar end link to the Rolex Oyster (with the middle link protruding).
