NASA Test Pilot Watch ID Assistance

Here's NASA Test-pilot Mark E. Pestana wearing what looks like an ana-digi with scalloped bezel. It's a 2012 photo but the watch also seems to feature in 90's NASA images.

I'm sure that this shouldn't pose too much of a problem for the TZ massive...

I think the silver bezel version would be a good addition to your collection

I wore the black bezel version of this watch through my university days
I lost it on the p1ss shortly after and had to track down another which took years. I still have itís replacement.
They are a great little watch if you can find one. Good lume with a good back light
Good functionality (not B1 standard but still good)
They look good and have not dated either.

I knew a helicopter pilot back in the day when I worked on them.
Always thought it was a cool watch
A good few years ago Argos was selling them for peanuts

Alas, my depleted funds are reserved for a 3133 at present.

Unless something else catches my eye...

That is a gorgeous watch! I've been toying with getting one for a while for the ani-digi functionality. Is it easy to use?

Yeah very easy if a bit clunky compared to some of the more expensive versions out there
It has an alarm, count down timer, chronograph, the date and world time, you can chose to display all the time zones in the world or just a select few. You set the UTC zone and the rest adjust automatically,
My only gripe is the syncing between digital and hands is non existent but they donít loose sync once set.

That's a Citizen Wingman VI very popular model and a certain auction site has them on a regular basis.
Great set of features and a cool backlight.

I absolutely love that slide rule bezel.

I really enjoy it when threads like this develop into a wider discussion instead of disappearing rapidly into oblivion.

Thank you - that was whispering “Come and get me”, like Curly’s gold. Really like that Citizen.

I’ll never save up for a Lemania Cosmonaut with all these distractions - this place is so bad for the wallet.

    Regards

    Jon.
