Cheap homage watches thread under £100 from Ali-Express and the like

A quick search revealed we have no threads on cheap homage watches, so I thought we could start one.

The watches must be homage (not fake) and should cost under £100. Useful for people who want to try the model before perhaps buying the real thing.

I'll start with this: a Cartier Tank solo homage watch, bought for £14 from Ali Express

Might I suggest raising the maximum a tad ? The range at double the initial sum is quite spectacular, to my ,admittedly modest, cost.

Where and how ? Mr Ali seems to be reluctant, by and by ,to allow my North London address to be accepted.

Amazon, with a voucher. Normally £99 I believe.

That's weird about the address. Can you use a business address instead?

The Pagani Daytona is well reviewed and great value for the money. Comes in about every colour combo you can think of.
I like the Baltany dirty dozen model. Again well under 100

I just recently picked the Pagani Design PD-1662 GMT (pearl dg5833) Black ceramic for just over £100 (UK seller) and for the price point, it is an excellent quality piece which has been pretty accurate running at +/- 8 spd and no issues with the GMT function.

These can be a bit hit & miss but if you get a good one then it's a great little watch, well I say little, it's your standard 40mm/20mm.

That Pagani Daytona looks superb, I've just ordered it in the same colour scheme. Hope it's a good'un.

A Pagani Design Day Date arrived this week and I’m surprised by the quality of the build (in the best way possible). The winding is a bit coarse but It’s keeping good time and is sitting comfortably on the wrist after I swapped the slightly hookie bracelet for a strap. Incredible value, particularly in comparison with the ever increasing prices of the prestige brands.

It's over the OP's price threshold but for anyone that likes the Polar Explorer II, but doesn't want to spend (or doesn't have) several thousand pounds to own one, then the new Pagani 40mm version looks quite interesting ...

This is my only one, it arrived 2 weeks ago and has been worn once, I would say it’s ok for the money no more. It cost a total of £117 delivered from China.

The watch keeps good time, the lume is good, bezel action is crisp but the crown is gritty and feels like it’s cross threading all the time. The crystal is a high domed mineral glass so is already scratched. Not bad for a bit of fun.

I've found the sub £100 to be a bit of fun but usually the bracelets are fairly poor. Not a massive issue given the price.
Sub £200 is more if a gamble as its not throwaway money and the watches can be poor from a QC viewpoint even if the specs are good and obviously returns are a pain.
Over £200 with the better Seestern or San Martin you can get some cracking watches.
I'm waiting to see a few reviews of the new Seestern Pelagos 39 homage. Could be fun to try. I really liked the Tudor but didn't have almost £4k spare to spend on it.
Nice blue and FXD style bezel options too

    As Rob said.
I fancied a Mission To Mars Moonswatch early on but decided against it, this version popped up at half the Swatch price , so, that had to be bought. Came via Amazon as Mr Ali wouldn't ship this version to my address, for some reason.

Bad description as it doesn't have a date window, which is, to my mind, an advantage.

I’m looking forward to a review of this one too. I’ve emailed Seestern and asked whether they plan to make a LHD with vintage lume like the original 42mm Pelagos. As it doesn’t have a date window I’m tempted to buy one and turn it into a LHD myself. It will be especially easy on the model with the NH35 motor.

    Tandorio CWC W10 lookalike.
200m WR with screwdown crown, NH35 movement, anti reflective domed sapphire crystal etc etc, and less than sixty quid delivered.
Love the cwc's but £549 plus p&p for a Mellor compared to this?

I really like that, except the hands. I know beggars can't be choosers, and all that! But I might have to have a search, see what I can find!

They do a few variations with different dials, hands, crowns etc, and also sell them piecemeal (cases, dials etc) to build your own. This is a screenshot of just one option they offer. I have one on order, and will give my opinion when it arrives.

But it's nearly three times the price. And although it looks great from the front it has very thick case sides (I was thinking of buying one but this stopped me).

Having worked in high volume manufacturing environments I can imagine Seiko can churn them out at a prodigious rate, literally like one movement every couple of seconds. And that's from one production line in one factory, they have many factories most with more than one line.

I do find it rather droll that the watches are branded Pagani Design when they are obviously someone else's designs.

I bought this last year, I can't recall the exact amount but it was certainly less than £100. Quality is fine and time keeping isn't an issue.

How ironic that a watch made by 'Escapement Time' isn't mechanical.

I like it though, very smart.

Can't remember what this cost exactly, I think about £50. I bought the strap for it because the bracelet was a bit cheap.

Benyar have a poor reputation and deservedly so, because the engraving on the caseback claims ALL SOLID STAINLESS STEEL when they're really chrome-plated base metal. But the dial is lovely and overall, it looks flawless. It's non-hacking though which is a bit of an irritation. Loses about 4s / day if memory serves.

Pagani is a car. Pagani Design is a play on Porsche Design. Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

Thank you! It was a group purchase for another forum that I use, and the idea was to make the most revolting Sub possible. The writing on the dial, the caseback, are in-jokes. It's a great bad watch!

Wrong answer, you should have described it as a limited edition and then bunged a couple of noughts on your purchase price.
