Thread: What leather conditioner/protector do you use ?

What leather conditioner/protector do you use ?

I swear by SofSole leather lube for use on shoes, hats, belts and man bags but i'm struggling to get hold of it.

I've tried other stuff in the past but not found anything as good as this.

What do you guys use ?

    This is amazing.

My wife uses it on her handbag collection, which is approaching the value of my car, so it must be trusted stuff!

Stuff from this company: https://www.ohmannleather.com A local company (for me), on of the top-5 of leather world-wide wholesale brands. Owned and run by one family. I came for help about restoring the colour of our leather couch, so I took a cushion with me. That helped me to get 'the grand tour' upstairs, where they store the hides. Amazing!

Example of their products: https://www.leatherhouse.eu/produhtt...=21659-ohmann- Originally for furniture, but it works perfectly on shoes etc as well.

Shoe polish. Either one of the colours to suit or Neutral for anything else.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

I use Pecard leather dressing which brought back to life my old Schott leather Pea Jacket. Tricky to get hold of though this side of the pond.

    Hi
Don’t think you’ll regret it, I’ve used it on hiking boots, shoes, knife sheaths, belts, car seats, settees, etc.
One of the big benefits imo is that it doesn’t leave a greasy residue transferring to clothes.

    Cheers
