Buy a second hand OnePlus. Best value for money you can get and very fast too.
Recommendations for a cheap (that’s the important bit here) large android phone.
I’ve got an iPhone 11 but Hermes operating platform is built for android and I’m having no end of problems with it so I need to get an android phone.
I don’t care about fancy features although waterproof would be nice as I’ll be using it in the rain and it also needs a camera.
I’ll literally only be using it for work.
Cheers.

I recently picked up a Samsung A21S from Amazon for £150. I think it ticks all your boxes. It is my first experience with an android phone, so I can’t tell you how it compares with other androids, but I’ve been an iPhone user my whole life and found it super simple and intuitive to use.
I just found a Motorola E7 online for £70. I think that ought to do the job.
Motorola G7 Plus, excellent in all areas and runs Android 10.
Motorola G7 Power - or whatever the latest version is, perhaps G8. I've used one for a couple of years, can't fault it. Cheap to buy. The huge battery typically lasts me 4 days!
hi, had lots of phone, lots, this is one of the best ive had, £195 sealed box on ebay

I ended up going with a Samsung A21s on contract with three.
You may smile but the redmi 9 is unreal
And can be had for peanuts - it’s the same size as my 11 pro max
Has a battery that leaves mine for dead
Everything about it is just unreal
Even the latest update is amazing
I’ll be switching to it after the Cheltenham festival as just want to be comfy and fast with what I’m used to before moving to android
