I don’t know if Bry1975 on here still sells them, but he made some brilliant Seiko specific case back openers a while back. Really useful and great quality. The ball might work, but it’s very dependent on whoever did it up last.
Just after a bit of advise please,
I’m looking for a springbar tool and something to open the back of vintage Seiko dive watches.
I’ve been using one that came with a watch and really struggle with the fat 2.5mm Seiko bars so would like to invest in something better.
I’d also like to check the movement inside one of my watches, would one of the rubber ball things be any good for removing casebacks?
Thanks in advance,
Rob

The ball's do work but as said it depends how tight the last person put it on.
As for spring bar tool Bergeon 6767F is probably the best one. £11.74 plus abo3£1.40 postage on eBay from HS Walsh.
Sent from my SM-N960F using TZ-UK mobile app
I’ll order one of those tools now, and may as well give the ball a go.
Thanks guys,
Rob
I use a pocketknife with a dull blade to remove spring bars
Caseback opener. Can use a Jaxa model, but depending on how tight the back is. Might need a case holder to be able to use both hands to open the back
