I don’t consider myself an expert but I would bet that movement has never been anywhere near Omega, the finishing is so poor.
Do you have a pic of inside the case back and the front of the watch.
Does anyone recognise this movement? It's engraved with the Omega logo highlighted in gold on the stainless back plate.
It's been suggested that the watch is a fake but this is the first time I've taken the back off so any imput would be much appreciated.

I do believe this movement is a vintage fake, I’m afraid. The Omega marking has been added afterwards. Here’s another movement the same but with a more ham-fisted Omega engraving in a different location.

Watch looks like late 60s/early 70s, movement looks like 1930s/40s. I’d expect to see a serial number on an Omega movement too. The movement appears to fit the case correctly so I’d say the watch is likely to be fake.
