Extramarital affair with an aquanaut?
Interesting design.
Is it a Seiko or aftermarket part?
If after market they have nailed the seiko QC standards.
Look at the state of the lume plots.
If Seiko I will take a sharky in future.
It's a genuine Seiko dial probably for the 2021 Turtle.
Some of the polished circular borders of the lume markers are not being reflective in some areas. That is what you can see, so it is not a QC issue on this occasion.
Personally, I don't like the design.

Well, here it is along with two other new releases:
I think they are all pretty awful.

They seem to be fakes as the indices line up correctly;)

I dont like the grenade dial and the cyclops addition; was interesting at first but after a while I would find it annoying. Sometimes less is more.
Sapphire + ceramics are more then welcome, now I would like to pack them with new 6R instead of making the dial too complicated (same goes for Samurai)
It appears like quite an odd mix to me, with a very 70's/80's design and details like colours and dial pattern to make it look like contemporary.
The mix between the turtle case and the compass bezel is a bit of an acquired taste as well.
Not sure why they're trying to shift from the original design of the turtle which is quite good in my opinion (I've had 4 of them).
I reckon an upgraded/redesigned bracelet would be nicer
But bloody hell, Seiko is at it at the moment, that's a lot of new releases and "special editions"!
What is it with Seiko at the date at 4.5?? Doesn’t do them any favours
Are the padi editions not always blue and red as well? I just thought about it seeing this one only black and blue
Seiquanaut?
I just want a nice spec Seiko dive watch without a day or date and I'll be happy.
