I really enjoyed the first series of "This Fishing Life"
Easily the best documentary series I've seen since "Indian Hill Railways"
Takes you right into the lives of the people involved.

    Thanks v much to ellsy.

Lovers of Cornwall would probably rather see a TV programme saying how horrible and overcrowded it is there, how much it rains, and lots of other reasons why it's over-rated and you really shouldn't bother going there.

I think it's gonna be super-crowded there this year (no matter what stage restrictions might be in, then).

Those programmes are enjoyable to watch, however.

Yes, Reeve has grown in to a very good and perceptive presenter.

We've recently booked a week in a friend's cottage near Gorran Haven, just before the schools break up. We looked around and there was still some availability in good properties for those weeks, but it was going fast and later in July was stuffed.

I was there (near Plymouth) a few years back. Totally smitten. I love Devon - partly as a result of the fantastic weather, I suppose.
