The era of big watches is officially by over

My new watch is only 22.85mm.
    Thick,that is.
Presenting the H2O 25000m Deep Diver.
The turbine bezel is something else.
Quite wearable inspite of the thickness.

Careful Rajen, you don't want to trigger the 36mm girlie wrist mob.

That bezel, I f**king love it!

Like the look of that - especially the bezel. What is the diameter?

I picked up this the other day because I like the ratchet bezel (that is on another level), and at just over 17mm thick, is a shrinking violet!

    126g without the rubber strap.

Diameter is 42.5 mm, bezel is 44mm.
That Spring Drive from Seiko is one of my favorite watches ever.

So you went for the baby version lol :). I believe they do a 25.10mm thick version with a full 10.5mm sapphire, compared to the 8.25mm thick sapphire version.

The weight seems great, and no doubt the sensible use of grade 5 Ti

I think it’s a hell of a lot better looking than some of the other deep diving monstrosities out there too - and doesn’t seem a bad value proposition for a fun watch.
It's just a matter of time...

Not quite as high as it thought. Do they do a bracelet version?!

Very cool. Now lets see a 36mm watch with the same thickness 😂

I have a bracelet from the 8000m variant which I think should fit. Excellent bracelet it is as well.

That is rather cool, I love the case and bezel - not so keen on the dial and hands though. I would have had to go for the thick crystal as well, go big or don’t go at all!
I do like a large watch for a bit of fun, being Ti will help those that suffer from the wrist fatigue some apparently suffer from...
The largest watch I have is a crappy Zlatoust homage / copy.

Do you still have the Crepas Hydrographer? Thats a watch I was sad to miss out on.

Wow, that's quite something. A mm thicker than my old Panerai depth guage https://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.p...ghlight=Pam193

Love the industrial look. The bracelet for it looks like some serious engineering.

    Enjoy!

12 - 14mm thickness is my limit with 14mm starting to look bad. More than that is just ugly IMO but each to their own.

Perhaps this is where the much lamented growth of Rolex products is going. With the increasing prevalence of the theft of luxury watches, Rolex is getting a jump on the criminals by supplying their watches as dual purpose watch / knuckle dusters.

Haha I can totally see it

    Definitely a unique piece.

That thing is absolutely horrendous, yet you somehow manage to pull it off! I assume Titanium? One thing with the height is how deep the case sits back - i guess a nice visual trick to hide the height. No idea why on earth they thought a little puny date was a good idea.....

    Absolutely love it.

I've ummed-and-ahhh'd over their configurator a little more often than is sane, but at the time I'd never seen decent pics of a finished watch, so never did make a purchase. Good think I'm on the watch-wagon now...

Veering slightly off topic, does anyone remember the name of the watch company that made a watch so chunky it had no spring bars, just slots milled into the case that a NATO would thread through? That was about 22mm high from memory.

  40. #40
I love that turbine bezel, something else that .
    Totally different than the norm.
And yes the 36 mm brigade chimed in.
    Looks awesome.

Love the turbine bezel but that is just screaming to take chunks out of door frames.
