Just checked mine. It took around 50 smooth winds before i could hear and feel the clutch kick in. Then it was felt about every rotation and a half ish.
My GMT wasn’t running this morning, but i feel fairly certain that it hadn’t been unworn long enough to stop.
I adjusted the time, it started ticking, then went to wind it. The winding wasn’t smooth felt more like when the clutch is in operation to stop it overwinding. The watch is now running.
Could somebody please check their gmt and let me know how it feels winding it before the clutch kicks in as I can’t remember. Even better for comparison if it’s not a running one.
Thanks.

This may be a stupid comment, but I have noticed that some of my autos are running out and I have put that down to not leaving the house, not going to the office, no gym, no shops etc.
Maybe I am imagining it, but I blame Lockdown for my watches stopping...
Thanks.
Confirmed what I thought, it had just stopped.
Looks like a trip to AD... whenever they reopen.

After wearing my Garmin for most of last year I put my Pelagos on a few days ago. Just gave it a few winds to get it going then wore it all day. It stopped at 6am the next morning. Wound it up again and wore it for another full day. Stopped at 7am. Same routine again and this morning it was still going when I got up at 8am. So I thought it was okay. But today I received my North Flag in the post and it’s basically the same calibration but with a power reserve. I wound it to 50% and then wore it. Was really surprised at how quickly it then moved to fully wound, just a couple of hours of me doing not very much. So now I’m thinking that something is wrong with the Pelagos. Any views?

Try winding them both up completely - until the clutch kicks in - this might be 30+ winds. Set them both to the current time. Leave them both off wrist until they run down completely, more than 70hrs until they both stop. If the time shown on the faces are very different (which will be the time they had stopped), this may indicate the Pelagos needs some attention.
You say you wound the Pelagos a few winds before wearing, so maybe never have become fully wound to its 70h power reserve?
Personally - I always fully wind my autos after they have stopped, after I've not worn them for a while, then my wrist movement keeps them topped up.
