A Perfect Planet - BBC iPlayer UHD

If you have a 4k/UHD TV then watch David Attenborough's the Perfect Planet on the iPlayer rather than BBC when broadcast as it is in UHD and looks amazing, also you can watch all episodes through the iPlayer.

Watched it on catch up on IPlayer only a lowly HD TV and it was still stunning. Thats one balsey cameraman to sit in a corrosive swamp upto his calves to get the shot though!

I think you have to opt in to the beta settings. Also depends on make/model of your tv

Good call. An amazing picture and series. Mad the effort they put in to get the footage.

In general I think the terrestrial channels have been slow in showing more 4k content ?

The picture quality is good - certainly better than Black Narcissus.
That was some of the worst I’ve seen and presumably a more compressed stream.

Still not as good as Netflix though. My wife was watching Bridgerton and it was stunning. Like looking through a window.
