    DVD ripping

We have load of dvds but our player has had it, i was hoping to rip the dvds to a usb stick and play them from there, they are our own dvds so i dont think we are committing any piracy.

What is a good program to use to rip dvds.

    Thanks

Handbrake https://handbrake.fr/ but you’ll need more storage than a USB key.

    Makemkv for blu-ray disks.

Use makemkv to rip and Handbrake to encode.

A few years back I used to use Slysofts AnyDVD which was great for ripping the movie and selected soundtrack only.

Not sure if they are still around though.
