Agree. I don’t own one but I’ve always admired the “Steelfish”. Stunner.
I've owned this for 12 years and it never gets old.

And they look equally at home on rubber and leather .
Fabulous watches .
Yes indeed.
And the prices are laughably low. I think you can get this with all boxes and papers for 2000 euros or so.
You can buy FOUR of these for the price of a beat up Rolex Sub (which is a greatest diver watch ever no doubt) but still. This is not four times less watch than a Sub... that's for sure.
I actually compared it to a Sea-Dweller in my blog.

Lovely watch! I've had an earlier Superocean back when Breitling was the hype. Unfortunately, their latest offerings don't excite me anymore..
Steelfish is an underrated model. Perfect size and looks great on rubber.
These are awesome watches. I was lucky enough to own the very rare GMT version a number of years ago. Shouldn’t have flipped it, it was a real keeper! 🤦🏻*♂️
If I can ever work out how to get a photo up on here il share!
Here are some photos of yours:

Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
I’m no fan of modern Breitling, but I have to admit I did have a bit of a soft spot for a steelfish that I owned for a few years. It was everything I shouldn’t like (too big, too bling, and… erm, too Breitling) but I really enjoyed it.
I'm still a massive fan of mine. It's not the original one which I think was 42mm. Then I think there was a 44mm with the same handset as the original - with the block second hand. Then there was mine which I think was called the 'XL'.
The Steelfish is basically my go-to watch for when I know I need it to be able to handle anything and look good. I bought it in 2009, it's never been serviced or touched and still hasn't skipped a beat despite all sorts of use including some pretty rough trips in the sea on NATO warships! Unfortunately I can't find any photos of it there although somewhere I do have them.
