Watches are one of the few items that have any permanence in today’s disposal society.

All of my watches are “attached” to some sort of milestone. Except the beaters.

Your grandfather sounds a bit of a character, let’s see the watch.

Love that Omega OP, hopefully by this time next year I will have purchased myself at least 1 nice watch, that I'll be able to wear at Christmas. Just need to actually make my mind up which watch is right for me.

It's the PAM00062, the date at 04:30 is typical for the Zenith movement these watches use.

Wife and I are volunteering during the morning and afternoon so it'll be the trusty Garmin. Then, in the evening, the Tudor BB58 as it was only picked up today.

Since Imgur is playing up I can’t post a photo, but it’s my DSSD on rubber at the moment. Something else when I get up later .

That’s very nice, I’m not too familiar with DDs though, is it platinum?

Merry Christmas everyone, I’ll be wearing my Sub Date today, if I remember I’ll change it to something more sentimental later this afternoon.

Put my Signum Diver on first thing as it was what I was wearing yesterday, but just switched to the Jaquet Droz my parents bought me for my 21st.

Only comes out for family events these days, but thankfully today counts with the kids here before we disappear into tier 4 hell.

    Great idea!
Love the personalised Tudor earlier in the thread!

Currently wearing the Smiths PRS68 as have worn that pretty constantly since getting it, but might go and dig out the JLC for the rest of the day.

Will post a pic if I get time later.

Here is my pride and joy worn all over Christmas and now New Year. I’m going to add the new Kermit to my collection in 2021 - at least, that’s the hope.

Happy New Year you lovely bunch!
