As is customary (for me!), I'm wearing the new arrival from last week. Much fiddling with the bracelet but now it is exactly the right size!

Wearing this today for a change. The Railmaster is my daily office watch so hasn’t had much wear time since March.

Wow. You must be very very chuffed with this.A seriously rare and hard to find piece i think. Makes a lot of the modern high value divers in this thread look almost common.

I think this is the only Tutima so far this Friday. Flieger manual wind chronograph. Ordered from a German dealer via Chrono 24 last Monday morning and it arrived barely 48 hours later. Just under 40mm. I love the big crown and cathedral hands. Maybe it would be more authentic on a leather strap, but the beads of rice bracelet is really comfortable.

A lot of controversy and talk surrounds this watch & understandably too.Ive had a few of these but many years ago.I made a comment when I sold one that they might become a collectable watch!,which was scoffed at,but they do seem to have a following because of the history and Rolex having their dealings with the maker a Mr Ken Sato...Look online for more perhaps.

This version is the first he made which later changed because of the Rolex involvement.Taking all the negative opinions, and oh boy their are plenty of those!,it is actually a very well put together watch regardless.
Have a quick search on the web Ben to see what other oddities he produced, more to do with the use of the wording on the dials than the actual build quality.......some are quite difficult to get,I nabbed this of ebay and got it today, and for less than I sold mine for way back!.
Im tempted to go for his "Daytona" version,I cant remember the name he used right now,but Im sure its equally as strange as PRO-LEX!.

edit:- And he apparently bought the "Comex" name and so could use that legally.

Decent thing - mineral glass and stainless steel, with a very comfy silicone band that, for once, isn't a dust-magnet. Lume on hands only.
Another one? That makes two in two weeks. What have you got planned for Christmas?

His Daytona was the Prolex Dino. I am almost certain he used exactly the same suppliers used by gevril with the tribeca.

Afraid to say that's my £30 orgy of consumerism at an end - not as young as I once &c. Aside from an incoming Dekla, Xmas will be quiet watchwise, and 2021 is supposed to cold-turkey for the whole buying-watches thang. I may sell this Q&Q - mustn't be greedy with such rarities!

Not often an humble quartz tag gets a nod, so thank you! It was this or (yet another...) similar-era Seamaster, but I've had a few too many of those. TAG will still service them too (I needed a new bezel click). So perhaps a decent option for anyone fancying a low-hassle brand Swiss watch with global support.

Yeah, I think I got extremely lucky finding one in such original condition. In all the years I've been searching for one I think I've only seen about 10 examples in total (only two in person) and most of them have been damaged or modified. I think that because it wasn't very well known most collectors just assumed that they are another Borgel type trench watch and as a result very few will have survived unmolested.
Good examples of this are probably even rarer than good 5517 Subs

It’s a Steveo Canvas. Supremely comfortable and I think it really suits the watch.
