Am I right in thinking the Bentley - like the Bond DB5 continuations - is a brand new car? Can you even register one for the road?
I wouldn't touch one with a bargepole. I'd have a 1910s or 1920s Vauxhall or Alvis in a heartbeat. I'm sure I saw one of the Talbot 105 team cars up for sale recently.
Thinking about it 25 years ago I found a MG ND chassis and engine in a barn and looked into turning it into an NE replica. I wish I had, the bits sold for £6k.
I have friends with a 1930 four-seat Morris Minor tourer (no, not the Minor you all know, the late 1920s design that most people mistake for the Austin Seven), which with body removed and replaced with a canvas two-seat body and with a tad more power became the MG M-Type. The Morris has a tuned M-Type engine fitted, we saw 80mph on the autoroute en route to Le Mans Classic in 2010. This with brakes more suited to 1930s speeds. Terrifying. I think with my £1.8million I'd have a huge amout of fun buying and playing with a whole bunch of different vintage cars.

Re the car, I've never fully understood the fascination of continuations, especially warts and all examples like the V16 BRM that Hall & Hall are punting about. At least though, they are always * better looking than things like Bentley MkV1 specials, which are indescribably ugly. All of them.
*EDIT: The BRM continuation is obviously as ugly as the original.

An old chap opposite my house has a few vintage cars in his garage inc the same Bentley,I remember a long time ago him letting me have a look at his cars.
I know when hes about to go out in it because of the great noise.
It's a perfectly delightful machine. But if I had that money to spare and had to spend it on a Bentley, I'd go for a '53 R-Type Continental in black, like this one:
