I think I'd go black, but probably only because I have two vintage watches with cream dials that look similar.

Well, that and the fact that, from those photos, the numbers are quite hard to see against the cream dial.

I prefer the black, looks sportier to me.
I have a black Tissot Visodate with sapphire glass, unfortunately, it's not anti reflective and can be hard to read in some light. Worth considering, for the black version.

Black dial here also, looks to have a bit more class about it if you know what I mean.

The Black is the more legible out of the two, but that said I prefer the Cream dial.

Black. I'd struggle to read the time at a quick glance with the cream one. Both nice though.

Cream dial for me. Firstly there's not enough cream dial watches in this world but there are lots of black. Secondly, it might not be as eligible as the black so you get to stare at it for a fraction longer. That's what we do anyway so it's ok.

That cream dial looks fantastic. Much nicer than my white dial. Which I’ve never warmed to

It’s more of a sunburst champagne than a Creme. I’ve got one, it’s spectacular. Can’t go wrong with either.

I use to have the v2 cream with blue hands, so I'd also recommend that one. Of the two in the OP I'd go for the cream dial.

Cream for me, partly because I don’t like the Orient logo, and it doesn’t stand out as much, but on saying that I do rather like it, how many folks are now looking at that and wondering if they need a early Christmas present.

Definitely cream! As mentioned above, so many black dials out there, it’s nice to have something slightly different

Clearly any self respecting WIS would buy one of each.

Either of the cream dials for me. The white date wheel on the black dialled one irks me somewhat, it is less noticeable on the cream dialled ones.

If my Christmas present to myself wasn't already in the post I would be tempted by the one with blue hands.

If only the cream dial in the op had blue hands

I like both, but if I had to choose it would be the cream. Has anyone tried on the 36mm version?

Black dial for me although the cream with blue hands is also very nice!
