Steinhart Ocean 39 vintage GMT special OLKO edition

It’s not a limited edition / it’s a special edition, meaning it’s sold only through olko watches but numbers won’t be capped, but will only be available in small batches at a time

They will release more next week

Nice looking watch. Hoped they'd do one of these in 39mm.

What’s the difference between this and the other 39 GMT, if any? I thought that one was a limited edition?

Just release the bloody thing properly. Grrrrr!

I think he knows it’s 39mm. Previously Steinhart have only done a 42mm version and lots of us have been hoping they’d do a smaller version.

The other 39gmt was a limited edition for the boutique in Aachen. It had no cyclops and an engraved case back.

The olko one has the cyclops - that’s the only difference. It’s up for sale again for another small run right now on her site. They will keep doing small runs up to Xmas I believe and s as mother run in January according to Instagram

I like the fact that Steinhart (and also Timefactors for that matter) are making good quality tool watches available at sensible prices and based on some classic discontinued designs.

Basically doing what Rolex ought still to be doing, had they not lost their way in the pursuit of "luxury" status at silly prices ...

I guess if anyone really wants to know what their modern Rolex is actually worth in terms of the manufacturing, they just have to look at one of these, and bearing in mind that Steinhart are presumably still making a decent profit on each watch as well LOL.
