At the mention of "his and hers" watches I always feel duty bound to point out that it's a slippery slope you are on . . .

No, but the wife and I share a couple of Mr Jones watches:
Wife and I have matching DateJusts (white face, smooth bezel, Roman - mine Oyster 36mm, her 28mm jubilee) and Divers (Me SD, her No date sub)
We are a bit howard and hilda!!!!

My wife swears by Apple Watch, so that puts His & Hers out the window for me!
We both own watches but none remotely similar thank Gawd!
Cheers,
Neil.
We have similar looking Divex's. Mine is the 500m version, hers is the 200m version. Some time after buying my Divex we were wandering through a bootfair and spotted "her" Divex, it was BNIB and they wanted a fiver for it..............I didn't even haggle :-)
My ex and I had matching 28 and 36 mm TT Datejusts - both blue degrade (if that's the right word) diamond dot dials.

Mrs Syd and I had ‘his & hers’ Garmin 920xt’ till I switched to their Fenix range .
Not at the moment, but Mrs 54 is 40 next year and has hinted at a TAG Heuer AquaRacer as a fancied present. I already have one myself, so seems inevitable now. She mostly wears an Apple Watch, got a feeling I’ll splurge on the AquaRacer only for it to spend most of its life on the bedside table.

Honestly I would gladly wear hers....if she lets me ;)
We have his and hers bank accounts, emails and iPhones.
I find the idea of his and hers watches very tacky, probably conditioned by the frequently seen cheap box sets of his and hers watches on the streets:-)
I bought my lady a vintage ladies UG with the same Chinese-scripted dial as mine - she's worn it once:)
Kind of...
