This year has been a bit of a watch Epiphany for me, a rediscovered interest in space themed watches. It has reminded me that you don’t need to spend a fortune to enjoy this hobby. Here is my Sturmanskie Gagarin reissue (in Titanium), on an aged canvas military strap, it gives a really (in my opinion) cool retro look. In order to mark the festive season the picture is replete with reflected Christmas tree lights......

Thanks - the watch itself is very, very impressive. The case is superb. I'm still undecided whether I like the watch on the bracelet. On one hand it's very comfortable and so well balanced, on the other, not sure about the look which I think still looks better on the strap. Thankfully I have a good fit with the bracelet and it works spectacularly with my other Ming watches. Always a potential risk with these butterfly clasps and no micro adjustment (two half links help a lot...).

Thanks. They’re pretty cheap (under the radar still) which is nice. There’s a lot of cool dials on the 4004 quartz watches.

This one until about 15 minutes ago...

... when this one arrived! A watch I’ve been after for ages. Finally persuaded the owner to part with it. I have a feeling it will be on the wrist for a while.

Please excuse the dog keeping warm after his haircut yesterday.

New arrival and straight on the wrist.
The bezel looks green in certain light.
    It’s lovely.

This pebble - a new arrival:

    Have a good one, everybody!

    Old Pics

Started the day with this, which doesnt usually leave my wrist for 5 out of the 7 days of the week

Quick 5k run meant this was worn.

    Now back to the BB58

My obsession is raging at present.

All trace of watches, straps, tools etc put safely away in the loft.

Only wearing this for at least 6 months or till the madness subsides.

Now, if I can just go cold turkey from Timefactors!

I used to prefer the painted dial and loved my 'Zero' but this is a great example of the Sandwich dial, nice and simple.
I'm not fully up to speed with the more recent releases but wouldn't have thought there was much difference between this and the 560?
It's still the Friday thread, so here's another gratuitous shot

Thinner bezel and flat crystal pretty much makes the dial seem ever so slightly bigger.

I was on the fence between the 560 and 390 (but the 8 day in house movement swung it for me).

Do love the sandwich element though heres mine

What's the matter - is one of them injured? No ball-throwing for our hooligan at the moment as he's pulled a tendon.

It's been this most of the week - UG bracelets with 20mm end-pieces are like rocking horse poo and this is one of the two watches I have that it fits.

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
