Brakes sound a bit clunky if you watch the CarWow review.
But looks cute.

I really like this and seems like a good alternative to the Honda E and cheaper or the same price I think if you opt for the cabrio. They also have one coming with the funky RX8/ suicide doors, which I like.

I suppose it'll depend on price. I think Vauxhall and Ford are taking the proverbial with the cost of the new Corsa and Puma electric vehicles. A report came out yesterday from the RAC suggesting a fifth of drivers still can't afford an electric vehicle and I'd suggest the reality is a hell of a lot more than that can't. There's an awfully long way to go before we can claim top be an electric car country.
Then add on however much for the charging options, batteries etc.
I don't see this being their target market though - it's a fashion statement car (and one I really like! Always had a thing for the 500...but not quite as much of a thing for the recent releases as that gorgeous original that was on SC not too long ago)
Ah but think about how much you're saving the planet!

Quite. It'll be 20k and some!
Agree, think you're right, but its funny as the 500 is very much a car of young and new driver market, which this one obviously won't be.
Not much different from the 'new' Minis or Beetles, though.
Folks on a budget would rather have the 14k I should imagine
An electric car, built by FIAT, a company with a history of building reliable cars, with hardly any electrical issues whatsoever.
Nothing could possibly go wrong.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
Fiat are one of the worse brands of car going along with Citroen.
Although I don't own a Citroen car anymore (I did do 15 yrs ago) I'd contest that Citroen make bad cars.
I've driven a Citroen van every day for the last near 20 yrs and I've never ever had one breakdown on me.
Maybe I'm super lucky (but I doubt it)

Fixed that for you...
You need to look at MG; my daughter recently bought the til spec ZS EV for a little over £20k new and the MG5 will probably drop below £20k in the new year. That’s for cars with 46kwhr and 52.5kwhr batteries so decent ranges.
She needs to charge her car once a week in normal circumstances and uses the granny lead in a three pin external socket at home.
I just sold a Fiat 500. It wasn't very well made (I saw one recently with front seat headrest pillars rusting!), especially the electronics. They skimped on the wiring, so it was taught up to the back of the dash. Two common failures are the digital instruments in the binnacle failing (fuel gauge, odometer, digital speedo), which happened to my wife's car, and the wiring failing to the boot and rear lights, again from the lack of slack in the wiring. Maybe they've sorted the electronics for their electric car. Let's hope so. I was as impressed with the Fiat dealers as I was VWs over the years, it's now two companies I won't buy from again.
