Incredible stuff - 11-12,000 years old - and just look at the clarity of it.
I love this kind of story, and it is amazing to think this was being painted over 8000 years before the pyramids were built.

An incredible window into a time when humans co-existed with mega fauna.
So clever my foot fell off.

Ralph Waldo Emerson: We ask for long life, but 'tis deep life, or noble moments that signify. Let the measure of time be spiritual, not mechanical.
Superb. I’ve read hundreds of articles of prehistoric civilizations and lots were around South America. So much we don’t know
I love all this kind of thing Alex. Have you read "fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock. He goes against the mainstream media views on ancient civilizations but his work is excellent, especially the Gobekli Tepe stuff.
Also, if you have read some of his books then watching/listening to his Joe Rogan Podcasts are fascinating!
Ancient astronauts, defo
Disappointed no Prime delivery though!
The preservation of that artwork is phenomenal. I love this sort of thing and particularly the ancient history of central and south America. Every time something like this is found it rewrites history, or, more accurately, our understanding of it. Our version of history is hugely European centric e.g. the 'discovery of the Americas' and I'm convinced that we still have an awful lot of to learn.
