    Another little scam

Just received an email from DPD who are a well known courier explaining that we were not in to take a parcel delivery. They were either going to return the parcel to the sender or they would reschedule another delivery for a fee.

    It's a scam.

Had one the other day too . I’m guessing with a lot of shops closed & the increase of online shopping a few people will fall for this one .

Scam emails should be forwarded to:-
    report@phishing.gov.uk
They DO acknowledge and DO do something about them.

The timing of these scammers is exceptional, how much online traffic will be done between now and Xmas with lockdown in place. I recon conservatively 1 in 2 homes will have deliveries scheduled or due. So the success rate of the scammers will go through the room.

    Thanks for posting Mick.

I've had a couple of the DPD emails, which originate from a .be email address.

DPD usually confirm despatch of any parcels heading your way, and provide tracking details, so a "missed delivery" advice out of the blue doesn't fit their usual style.

As noted above, just forward them to the Government's phishing report service.
