On ebay.com there's a PRS-12 for sale from America. Yes! I've been looking for ages! But no - the seller doesn't want to ship it abroad. :(

Spotted this the other day. Looks like they had the order confirmation then went straight to eBay and it’s not even been delivered yet.

It was listed about an hour after placing the order. His order was cancelled 30 seconds after spotting the listing.

Yes upped to £1500 now . I suspect in derision of being identified possibly. If their order was cancelled how in heavens are they able to post pictures of it on the home footstool or bed ?

Probably someone else’s pictures lifted from the ‘net. It’s not like the bloke isn’t a ****.

Out of interest, given the rules on post count to sell here (which I don’t have). Would I be lampooned for selling a 2019 40mm Everest on the bay? Mulling over the various pieces in my collection and keeping fingers crossed for the lovely gilt version this weekend…

I doubt it. I think this thread is more about naming and shaming the arses who buy the hot models then flog immediately for a profit.

Several years ago, friends called, emailed and texted me asking if I was selling my motorcycle ..... turns out, someone was listing "his" bike on eBay and was using pics of mine lifted from the owners group site. When confronted, the guy told me that I should be proud he had selected miy photos ...... Reported to eBay and poof.
Seeing how many dishonest people are out there, I am very , very hesitant to buy on eBay and even to sell there. Which puts me in a "difficult" position as I want to cull my collections, both bikes (4) and watches. First world problems, really, but still.

It’s not going to sell at one bid for £400 . Obviously going to ramp up at the end to stupid prices.

I missed one today at 1400 national lottery time and went straight to eBay to be slapped in the face with this :(

I'm not sure about that. Recent sold prices have been around the mid 400s with some examples selling for £300 or less. I think the heady days are behind us.

Someone on there keeps relisting and relisting a Navigator at £800, it's been there for ages now. Considering someone else currently has a stickered example for £550 I don't think the £800 one is moving this week.
