Any idea where to find something like this? 36mm (this is important, 36-38mm, period correct) super large crown.
There are watches that looks similar to it but they are huge (zlatoust etc)
Zeno did an accurate homage in both quartz and hand wound versions.
The latter go for quite a lot of money.
The MKII Hellion is a homage to the US Navy pilots watch from WW2, these have a very similar dial to the BUSHIPS and are in 38mm
The originals were 32mm wide so rather small by today’s standards.
Period correct for these is 32mm case plus crown.
This is my Star Manufacturing Ltd case with Elgin 647 manual wind movement from the 40s.
