Thread: New Limited Edition Panarai - 20 pcs

  1. #1

Question New Limited Edition Panarai - 20 pcs

    Dropped into my in-box today;

    https://www.panerai.com/gb/en/about-...tches-NA-NA-NA

Only 20 pieces and is likely to be c.£10,000 when converted from the Euro price of 11,500.

What say you TZ Panarai fans?

Up now. Looks like left over pieces from other watches, dial, case, hands and bezel. I love Panerai but not for me.

Not sure about the black bezel, looks a bit odd to me. I do like the strap however, ties in well with the Prada connection, such as it is.
That being said I am looking at on a phone screen so difficult to discern detail.

There’s something about it that’s not quite right to me and I can’t tell what. Don’t know if it’s as simple as it’s a really poor picture.

For some reason I don’t like the GMT hand, I know it’s to look like a sail but not for me.

Panerai's best watches are the simplest ones. Far too much going on there.

They not believe in their own product, making only 20 pieces!

Not normally a fan of the brand, but I actually like that. I think the touches of red work.

Being firmly in the Panerai camp it’s a no from me at that price point. It might look better in flesh on a better strap combination. With so few being made it’s highly unlikely that I’ll ever see one.

Hope they remember to put the GMT hour markers on the dial on the production models.

I had an email at 7.11am and at 7.28am it let me put one in the basket out of curiosity but wouldn't let me check out.

Would have preferred a more discreet style. Not a fan of the text about the America’s cup and design on case back.

Site says it’s now sold out.

Panerai’s IT side is utter s***

Been trying to get a warranty extended for 3 months now and it’s still not sorted due to their utter IT incompetence

Not simply that - with collectables of any type - people use bots to simply beat normal people to get the ideas.
