I wear mine with buckle on the outside of my wrist. I then just feed the rest of the strap through the two keepers and do not fold it back on itself.

I invariably remove the 2nd layer piece so I don't get any part of the strap rucking up.

I think the single greatest development in the nylon strap world is the 'single pass', especially for those with a smaller wrist.

I’ve settled on this which is a slightly less bulky version of the first way.

Thanks for the advice and HAGWE!

Ha! Yes the perils of having a smaller wrist.

It does wear much better than my ceramic sub that I had though and sometimes the angle of the picture makes it look much more pronounced than in person.

I’ve tried several times, but I just don’t get on with NATOs. Too much material and the watch sits so thick on top of it.

I’ve tried a couple of ways and decided that either my wrist is too small or I’m fitting it wrong on the watch, soI’ll stick to a perlon strap and simple buckle.

That's why I cut off the short loop and fold excess inwards.

    Like this …

It keeps all the gubbins on the underside of the wrist, although that guy's strap is way too long and he needs to tuck it under the first keeper, not over, to reduce bulk.
