British Navy 0552 Elliott Deck Clock

Just added this to the collection a British Navy 0552 deck clock mite be from the 1970's the back issued date sort of looks like June 1971. Can't wait to receive it.

I saw that over on MWR and thought that it looked very nice. Immaculate.

I had a similar Smiths mounted on the wall. Took it off to decorate, never put it up again, gave it to a sibling.

Billy I do the opposite I use them to decorate the walls got them all over the house. If you got the bad habit of collecting military timepieces these are cheaper than vintage military wristwatches these days to get that fix. Plus this one mite have some cool history behind it since the issued date looks like 1971 so could of been on a British war ship during the Falkland's war wished there was a way to trace it's history. It was so nice had to have it plus it was service a plus.

Nevrdull worked better than Brasso what they made us clean up the ships bell and the display 5 inch brass shells on the quarterdeck on watch when in the US Navy. Will be a few weeks before I get it but I will probably hang it on the wall like this one.

Yes was also interested in this but spotted it too late, so I bought an old Smiths Type 5 ACA cockpit clock in consolation instead.

    Very nice piece
