    Sub :initial impressions

Got the 2020 no date yesterday .
Compared to the previous model it sits great on the wrist and although a tiny (less than 1mm) bit larger it feels smaller.
The wider bracelet and slimmer lugs make for a more smooth and less boxy feel than the maxi case.
4 month wait suggests I'm very lucky, handsome, well endowed, charming or just perhaps there may be a few more knocking about.
Gone on the list for for a batman so expect to wait a tad longer.

    Anyways a stunning sub.

Congratulations, completely understand what you say about being bigger but feeling smaller. It also feels lighter which is odd. The bracelet feels very smooth and well made, no hair snagging and comfortable fit.

I don't care how hyped some other versions of the Sub are, the no date Sub is the winner every time

Congrats - 4 months wait is no time at all.

    Personally I prefer the Sub-Date.

I can see this model becoming the most sought after ND Sub. It has all of the advantages without a single disadvantage. There is simply nothing to criticise it for.

Definitely a future classic. Don't ever sell it or you will rue the day you did it.

    Congratulations on your new Sub.

The 2020 model is certainly an improvement on the blocky 6 digit predecessors, however I still prefer the slimness of the 5 digits lugs, bracelet improvements not withstanding of course.

I have the previous subC, and unless you are a WIS nobody is going to tell the difference between them.

Of course, for a WIS the difference enormous

I agree. However there are so many negative comments on the previous model that I will just have to throw mine in the bin. Absolutely horrible watch. :(

I agree, until the 2020 model came out, I have loved my ND 2018 model, now I will have to dump it as it's no longer in vogue. But the plus is, it still shows the time and it still loves me :)

Stunning - very nice. I registered my interest back in September and I’m really hoping for a call at some point soon.

I think they look lovely in the images, it would be nice to see one in person but I doubt there is zero change with the way things currently are with rolex.

I do have one slight irritation with mine (date) and that is how much you can feel the movement, well, moving.

In comparison to the previous smooth and almost imperceptible vibrations the noticeable vibration abs movement is a little irritating.

I have abs have had many cheaper watches with less noticeable motion and vibration.

Don’t get me wrong it’s no deal breaker and the best looking for some time however interested in yours or any other new owners thoughts?
