I don’t know about BF, but they do a generous January sale with discounts increasing as you move through the month, if you son can wait that long. Also may other stores then discount them significantly too.

I have a rule about expensive winter jackets. Never buy them between 1st Sep and 31st Dec. Buy them for half price at any other time, stick them in the wardrobe and wait until it gets cold.

Edit - just see you had now bought one.

Red wing don't have sales but you can keep an eye on the usual resellers like John Lewis, rubber sole, Stuart's, end clothing etc

Thanks for the heads up bloody typical they don’t cater for the larger footed gentleman, I feel like Cinderella when it comes to shoe shopping and trying to find a uk12 sometimes as big as a 13 or eu 47.5 but End only stock up to a size 11

    Gutted ;(

If anyone has an idea size wise I would be great fuel for feedback I have got Cheaneys and trickers in 12 and 13 that fit I wear 12 in a grenson as an example but given the eu I think I’ll need a 13

That’s a bit of a downer though Red Wings have a reputation for being very generous sizes.
One of my mates has just got some from Asos and went down a full size i believe. Also a 25% off code from his student daughter meant he got them for a touch over £200.

If anyone happens to see a deal on Logitech let me know please. After the MX Keys and MX Master mouse. Might skimp on the mouse but probably not the keyboard.

I just returned a Shark take away, roller motor packed up after 5 weeks! Girl friend hated it, I even found it heavy. Argos are doing some good deals on Hoover cordless.
I have an old Dyson which is head and shoulders better than Shark.

I have the same size iron rangers as my trickers stow boots if that helps they both seem a very similar fit

The Sony wh-1000xm3 have been slowly creeping down towards £200 at Amazon / JL and Curry's and they are all matching each other. They are currently £219 I'm hoping one will blink and go sub £200.

  27. #77
Amazon Germany is €199. When I clicked £ conversion price was £177 but you would need a fee free card for this price.

I bought 2 pairs on the high street in Norwich last year - reduced from £280 to £150 a pair, they only had size 11 in stock (which is my size) so happy days! - I have read they come up slightly large, I might have managed a 10.5 but on the other hand they might have been crippling!

I've got a few different red wing boots, shoes, and chukkas. Depending on which I'm a different size. Think the boots come up bigger than the shoes and chukkas.

I do pretty all mu shopping online and this is what has put me off getting them. I can’t be bothered/too lazy for doing the returns. Couple of mates have bought Red Wing and Danner boots recently and the sizes have been too big. I called the shop for my recent Paraboot purchase to see how they sized and they were spot on.

Are you able to browse Amazon Germany from the UK? Is delivery "free" via prime?

This could be a game changer

Would you recommend these over the Bose 35 ii? I haven't manage to try either but heard the Sony has better sound but the Bose has a better mic for calls...

I bought the Sony's after much deliberation earlier this year. I must have read a million reviews and the Sony's just managed to pip the Bose. Having tried them both, they are both great, but I'm still pleased with my choice.
