    - No need to mess with font sizes/scaling or checking if your laptop can drive a QHD/4k monitor adequately as most can do 1440p easily.
    - Will be decent for movies
So I decided to go with this - thanks for your help!

Apologies, I've only just noticed this request. Unfortunately I don't have a large spreadsheet that I am able to share (even blurred) on a public forum. However, I often work with both data and financial spreadsheets many of which have over 200 columns and thousands of lines with Power query, Pivot tables etc. Initially I was having to deal with these on a 13" laptop screen which, on several occasions, almost resulted in the laptop exiting through a window. As I've said elsewhere, the 49" Samsung monitor isn't cheap but I don't regret it for a minute; I purchased it from HERE.

It is why I have that second screen in my set-up.

What do you guys think of this? Doesn't ship for a month but if it's good I don't mind waiting.

Edit: found a 10% code and bought it. Comes in a month.

Yep, I don't think you'll be disappointed. My previous dual monitors were Dell and I was hugely impressed with them.

Sorry to hijack but there seem to be plenty of 34 inch ultra wide monitors with VA panels in stock. The more expensive IPS panels (£600-£1,000) are out of stock or have an Oct delivery (Dell 34 IPS).

Is a VA panel that bad?

I have 15% off at Dell through work and an Amex cashback offer which is £100 back for a >£750 spend so would like to stick to Dell if possible.

Worth looking at a 32 inch 4k panel with 16:9?
