It’s ugly as sin. Much better ways to spend 400 notes.

Makes two of us that don’t like the lugs.

    It’s also £399 you’ll never get back.

If my memory serves me right its based upon a nautical clock... I actually quite like it - though Im fairly sure they do a blue dialled version thats a little nicer.

If you like it take a punt - at a sensible 40mm its likely to get a decent amount of wrist time.

That'll scratch up very easily, and you won't get your money back on SC.

I toyed with the idea of it for a while but the date shouldn't be there, it looks Wrong.

It's not for me but I live by the motto 'Buy now, ask questions later', which is why I've never made money on a watch, ever. But that's not the point.

And there's always the 14-day returns policy to help you make up your mind

    I've seen worse.

But the beer makes it seem like a bargain. It's not.

Small movement in a large case, look where the sub-seconds is, too far from the edge of the case.

I looked at it for 15 seconds. Initially I liked it......then I saw the date window.

Traditionally, the date window replaces one of the numerals or indices, but because the case/ dial is bigger than the movement, causing the date window to be too far into the centre, they've decided to keep the numerals in place and for me it doesn’t work. Date window side by side with the 3?.........NO! To add insult to injury the date wheel is white so it stands out even more. If the date was at 6, on a black background, it may have worked, but as it stands the layout looks wrong to me and I wouldn’t buy it.

Don't do it. Plus as someone said. It look's odd with the date Window. Better stuff out there for £400.00

Weird lugs. Kinda like those soldered on early trench watches.

It may well be the inspiration. Fact remains though, they're weird.

The LE manual wind version of the Khaki Navy Pioneer is well executed (IMO). I like the lugs.

It's genuinely awful OP. I dread to think how much you've had to drink.

Do not start taking drugs, I dread to think what horrors would tempt your hovering finger near the buy it now button.

This should be a pinned thread - lots of scope for entertainment...

For that money I'd be heading straight to our host's website and getting a Smiths.
