I ordered one as I thought it looked more authentic than the Forstner.
Ordered 30th November, chased 14th December, arrived 29th December.

Unfortunately though it won't fit the watch. The end-links have been crudely altered (I presume from a 20mm JB klip) but parts of the bracelet right next to the end-links are bigger than 18mm so it won't fit between the lugs (pic1)
Pics 2 and 3 show the jagged end-links.

I did have a good go at fitting it, using a couple of different types of spring bar but gave up after an hour of trying and realising I was starting to mark the lugs.

The saga of the poor JB bracelet has finally reached it's conclusion with a refund made today, 2 months after ordering it.

Glad you got your money back

Must admit I still really like mine. What did you decide on as a replacement in the end?

I didn't know they did it in this size. What are your thoughts on it?

Mainly the green cordura and pigskin leather...I think I've posted before. Might grab a vintage bracelet if something grabs my attention.

I’ve had my cream dial from new just one week today. I’ve fully wound it each day so far and the timekeeping has been nothing short of phenomenal. Far better than COSC standard.

It feels great on the wrist, very lightweight and supple the fold over bit that NATOs always seem to have slips under itself easily and stays put.
Due to it being supple/very flexible it does move about on the wrist a fair bit if not tightened up enough, ie their isn't much room for a finger to slip in between skin and strap.
Overall it has pros and cons but not being a fan of NATOs I must say this feels better than the norm. Priced above average I would not expect to be purchasing another.

Is this a new pick up of yours? I really like the idea of a hand wound watch but I’ve never found one I like so much so that I’ve pulled the trigger. Maybe one of these somewhere down the line.

Yep - a new watch for me. I’ll be honest, I’ve owned watches that cost many times more than this, but this is up there both in quality and performance....

While I have not had watches much more expensive I will agree that that the quality of this and performance is outstanding. Hope you enjoy yours as I am mine.

Clasp doesn’t ’work for smaller wrists right?

Yes,I heard about that before too. For me the clasp just keeps popping open...its no biggie really.

Has anyone else had the same issue i wonder?

Clasp shuts fine for me, although sometimes only on one side so I need to check it. I find that strap too long for my wrist so that the clasp sits slight too far around my wrist, if that makes sense. I could do with finding a strap that is slightly shorter but with the 18mm lug and clasp size to fit the clasp.

Something I never thought I’d say but that bund strap looks great.
Something I never thought I’d do is order a bund strap which is exactly what I’m going to do, that and a couple decent canvas straps.

    New

Good evening watchlovers, since I could not find a thread to introduce myself as a new member, I will do that here. If this is not the way, please let me know.
I am Paul from Arnhem, The Netherlands and have been following this forum since I started this hobby earlier this year. Especialy the TF-part. I hope to learn a lot from you guys/girls.

Through the Dutch watchforum I heard about TimeFactors and bought some watches the last months.
    I was able to obtain the PRS-48, PRS-10, PRS-25 EXP and a used PRS-29A.
Never had a problem in the Store, as long as you don't want to much in one session.

Since it is al about the Navigator here, I wanted to let you know I changed the leather strap for a new canvas from Archer.
Not because the original leather is bad, but the clasp feels uncomfortable on my small 17cm wrist.
Sorry, I have not figured out yet how to place a picture.

I ordered the black dial Navigator today, and a brown Timefactors Aviator strap. I am not sure if those pair well, but I will share photos here as soon as they arrive.

I am excited. Forum comments about the Navigator being one of Eddie's best are convincing, and this should complement my Everest and Precista 82. Handwinders are such a joy, too.

Sounds like it will be a super combination to me.

I think the Navigator is worthy of being called Eddie’s best watch.

Thanks, Graham. Your photos certainly make the case, if you will forgive an awkward pun. Something for me to aspire to when the watch arrives.

Here is a Navigator on a brown 18mm Timefactors Aviator strap. The strap fits well to the lugs and case, and the length for my 6 3/4 inch wrist is just about perfect. The thickness, taper and overall quality of the Aviator suits the Navigator, so to me this does seem like an excellent match. I am glad I tried it.

    Navigator

Thank you! I also have an 18mm Nato, and may look for a two-piece canvas strap too, but I plan to stay with this for now.
