Thanks for sharing, though I'm now slightly less patiently waiting for shipping notification having seen it at large in the 'real' world'. Hopefully in the next few days.

    Navigator

Mine arrived this morning as well, a lovely watch indeed. The Smiths Navigator case is a nice touch. Well done Eddie

Initial thoughts? I can't fault it. It's delightful. The dial is a lovely deep shade of black (rather than the more dark charcoal grey of the Speedbird), the numerals exactly the right size, style and thickness for the dial, and the hands, precisely detailed. Their length, which I know has been debated, is perfectly executed. The majority of the case is brushed, which I like, and the polished bezel doesn't detract from its military look.

Tipping it in and out of the light changes the hue of the dial, and makes the hands sparkle.

The strap is, to my surprise, a really great colour. It's not a colour I would have thought of choosing, but it immediately adds a vintage touch to it. It's got a touch of WWII about it.

Crown is a good size, ie large enough, tick, and without looking out of proportion.

Curled down lugs mean that it can be worn by pretty much anyone. Nomos take note.

If you're size agnostic I would say that this and the Everest could be the only watches you'd ever need. It really is that good. And yes Tony, this really should scratch the Mk XII itch.

Eddie has done an outstanding job on this one! I know we lavish praise on each new release as "his best yet", but I think this could well be it.

So, as one of the first owners I'd like to thank Eddie for sending it out so quickly, and hope that everyone else who has bought one gets to enjoy theirs as much as I am mine.

Looks stunning, thanks for sharing your initial thoughts, OldHooky.

Would be great to see different strap combos or strap combo ideas posted in this thread. I'm trying to figure out what would work best with this watch besides the OG Bonklip and different military-colored NATOs (black, grey, khaki, green).

I really fancy one of these myself, don't know how hard it'll be to get hold of, though. I suppose in the meantime I'll put my XII on to scratch my Navigator itch.

And, as someone stated, this will be my main watch for every day use, perfect size and weight, who needs more ;)

Do you have by any chance a link to the after market oyster bracelet you have put on your Everest?

Can those who've received their Navigator, please post up their order number if at all possible?

I need to see if I need to contact Eddie. I had my Sagepay email come through at 14:01, but not had one from Eddie as yet. My order number was RC24160963. I've also had no dispatch confirmation either.

I'm beginning to think I may have slipped though somehow. :(

Arrived this morning RC24160926 another home run from Eddie a stunning timepiece IMO.
A quick change of strap was going to be onto the Haveston Corps canvas Grey but to tight a fit underneath spring bars so onto the Af0210 which threads through perfectly.
    Cheers Eddie.

Thanks for including your order numbers. I really appreciate it. I'll hang fire until the end of the week and fire off a message to Eddie, if I don't hear anything during that time.

    Yep, that looks good.

I'm too skint to have tried to join the ordering scrum this time, but one day I hope to grab one of those.

The IWC Mark XII is to my mind the perfect watch, the Navigator looks like a great homage. I have had a few watches from Timefactors in recent years and all have been excellent. Currently wearing the baby dreadnought. The case looks closer to the PRS29A W10 homage rather than the PRS25 Everest and the black dial looks really smart. I will have to add this to my Christmas wish list, if there are any left. Well done Eddie.

All of my current watches have bracelets but this one I’m looking forward to being my one watch with a leather strap. I’m guessing by your location, bracelets are much more suitable for the heat!

Flat endlinks maybe, but fitted endlinks will be really hard to find considering the lug profile.

Mine arrived about 20 minutes ago, and it's a lovely thing of loveliness. I have to say the whole package is a step up again even over my previous TF watches, e.g. the printing of the leaflet, the strap and signed deployant, etc.

I would say this would be the ultimate TF watch - at least until Eddie's next one!

A couple of quick shots with alternative straps. Since it's 18mm I only have a couple of options.

A touch of vintage feel. Perfect for when climbing out of your Spitfire.

Perlon - not so keen on this pairing as it makes it appear more Field than Aviator. My initial reaction was that it makes it look more like a PRS-29, so off that strap came.

It's gone back on the pigskin strap, which I think makes it more distinctive than it would otherwise look. That said, I'm sure I'll try it out with something else. But for now, I'll enjoy it as supplied.

A change of spring bars from the chunkier shoulder less to the standard type gave me room to thread the Haveston through.
Why I didn't think of that yesterday lord knows. Luckily my dashing good looks makes up for the brain.
