    Ebay insanity

I have a look on eBay periodically for out of production models (still holding on for that PRS-53) and noticed that since last week the asking price for this PRS-29AM has doubled! The guy had it listed for £750-ish and is now going for £1000 over retail! Madness!

Sad thing is that someone will buy it, and give the scalpers what they want, making it harder for honest fans to get a look in.

Think it originally started around 500 and has been going up since.

The smart buyers will just hold out for the new batch coming out in early 2021. I know the new batch will have the Selitta SW210 but that is fine to me. Have had good luck with the Christopher Ward C65 hand wound model with the same movement.

No difference whatsoever, nothing to do with luck, Selitta movements are at least the same quality as ETA.

I didn't know the new batch were going to have a different movement. Makes sense, as it will be the same as the Navigator. I'm holding on for the black dial PRS-29 to go with the white dial.

Coincidentally, the white dial on wrist today:

Crazy money. The warranty card is on the last picture so I'm sure Eddie could find out who it is if he wanted to. I wouldn't waste any time on this chancer though.
A pic of mine I took last week.

Will this new batch use the SW210 top variant as the navigator?

Value, my friend, does not come for cheap (£1495) but slightly above it...
