Store is open, but for how long

Order of Smith's Navigator black dial complete. Sage pay confirmation and confirmation email from Eddie at 1401. What a whirlwind ride today as I am sure demand will be high. Good luck to all that secure their purchase. Eddie creates such beautiful watches and so much value for the price.

I went for the Navigator black dial too. Completed the order by 2.04pm. Got two emails to confirm transaction. Shop closed by 2.09pm. Quite a fraught process.

Wasn't going to as I have too many watches, then though "ach why not". Added to cart at 14:05 and got a custard pie.

2:03 and a Navigator white dial here also. I love the detail and as Eddie points out. Cracking movement. Bravo Eddie and now the patient wait.

Quite exciting for a Sunday afternoon :-)

Hopefully I'm in for White Dial Navigator and if it's possible to complete an order at 14.00 any quicker then hats off to you all!
Ordered a Speedbird immediately after (approx 1 min) and the order ref number was already 126 higher...

Fingers crossed that we all get our orders through OK in due course

One Black 48 ordered, email received at 14:06 so hopefully mine is going to be en route as well.

Did try for a Everest as well but it wouldn’t let me buy???

Yes managed to get an order in too, though initially I thought computers were going to thwart me due to an error message on pressing the cart button but thankfully the computer buffered a little and I got through. Fingers crossed I was quick enough to have been successful.

Got the Sagepay confirmation of my black dial Navigator at 14:01 but no confirmation from Eddie as yet. I assume that all went fine though.

I went for a black dial Navigator. I've owned many TImefactors watches in the past but sold them all...this is my first in probably 7 or 8 years...its been too long!

The design of the Navigator nails everything for me...I haven't been as excited about a TF release since the Speedbird 3's first release.

I bought exactly the same pair of watches in the same order. Sagepay confirmations separated by two minutes and 132 orders!

Both emails timed at 14:01 stressful 5 minutes prior to opening praying the Furosemide didn't kick in suddenly.

Nope - I tried to buy at 14:00:01 and none were available. There was no price listed so I think the “3 available” wasn’t correct.

Got my confirmation order at 14:06?

Would of being sooner had I not wasted 2/3 mins trying to buy an Everest then put the wrong shipping address in the order form doh...

Finally got it sorted then email order acceptance at 14:06...

Congrats to those who got anything, I couldn’t be bothered. Could take up to 40 days for delivery so your patience will be tested.

It could but it won't unless you know more about my business than I do.

I wanted to take not more than 300 orders so that I could open on 29 November. In the knowledge that orders continue to trickle through after ordering is closed, I closed ordering when it reached 200. In the event, the final figure is 356 orders which is going to present a problem going forward. Fortunately I have the help of my nephew almost every day for the next 2 weeks.

Easy on Eddie, my life (well what’s left of it) will continue without the watch, gives me time to move on some others. Good luck with it all.

If orders can still trickle in after you have ‘closed’ I think you need to review your ordering system.

    Closed should be closed.

Well done on another successful shop opening and I hope preparing the shipping goes smoothly.

Out of interest if allowed to ask, did the Nav account for a good proportion of those orders?

I hope you will ignore the comments re unsolicited advice concerning your ordering system, Eddie.
It would be helpful to know if there are any Navigators left for next time please. Is it likely to be 29/11, with orders exceeding what you wanted?
    Thanks.

How do you manage to fill out the forms and get confirmation order in under 1 minute-I must be missing a trick or two! I have previously ticked the “save details” box , but the forms are still blank. Grateful for some tips .

My advice on reviewing the ordering system was as a result of Eddie admitting the orders that trickled in after may pose an issue. Simply trying to be helpful to someone who tries to offer the best service he can.

I used to operate a website with a hard deadline, albeit for a different purpose, as still things sneaked in. With a little thought it was an easy fix.

I'm RC24161162 @ 2.03 - thought that I was in there on the dot but barely made the first 200 it seems.

White Dial Navigator (which looks to have been a popular choice)
