I watch these and also review the past auctions of the likes of Bonhams. My thoughts usually swing from "How much" to " that's a proper bargain".
Many years ago my pal made a fair amount of money buying and selling cycle parts. His methodology on the famous auction site was to target a series of items and set the search to ending soonest. Sometimes due to the way an ad is worded, good high value parts attract no interest. He would step in at the death. On receipt he would check it out , re list with a good description and trouser the difference.

That Plymouth Superbird is something else. The last one of those I saw was broken down on the Kings Road during a Chelsea Cruise (about 1980). Happy days. Meep meep.
