    Aww, Jeez.

"Look, I'm a doctor. I'm a doctor and I want my sausages". Me and a few pals banter with that line now and then and it always brings a chuckle.

The Grizzled Milkman gets five threads and Geoffrey Palmer only gets one? Where’s the justice?

    RIP.

It's early days, give it time.

Hadn't heard this, cock up on the communications front.

He seemed to be in everything, a great guy who will be sadly missed.

My friend is teased regularly about this. He's a doctor and he lives to eat sausages. We say Geoffrey's performance in Fawlty Towers, actually prompted his medical career, so keen is his interest in eating sausages.

Butterflies was one of the first TV series I recall watching, with my mum.

    Wonderful actor, RIP.

That’s the first thing I thought of when I heard he’d passed.

    Same for me.

Shamefully, I only found out recently that Andrew Hall passed away last year.

I hadn't heard that, sorry to hear.

Sad news about Geoffrey Palmer. I think Reggie Perrin's friend Jimmy is the role for which I'll remember him most. Nice to see him in a small part in Judi Dench's second Bond film as well, Tomorrow Never Dies.

Sad news indeed, but a good innings at 93. I enjoyed watching him in “Fairly Secret Army”, definitely time to watch it again.

Seems to be a recurring theme these days.
