I think clasps were Tudor branded by the mid 70s, although the blades were Rolex branded for much longer.

I emailed Forstner last week to ask if they would be bringing out any Rolex oyster bracelets ( I’m hoping for something like a C & I rivet bracelet). They said they have something in the pipe line that would hopefully be out in the next 6-7 months.
Rather than aftermarket, I think it might still be an option to get a Tudor 78500 with 380b end links. Same as a Rolex 93150 but cheaper. I’m sure someone had one supplied for £600 recently as an addition to a service. I’m tempted to go into an AD to see if that is an option.
The Tudor 9315 is a bit horrid and prices are crazy, although there is one for sale on TRF from 1990

And that is the point, really. My Snowflake came with no bracelet, and it is definitely worth having one to dress it up with, every now and again.
As a genuine Tudor product, it may be relatively expensive but also will add at least that to the value of my watch.
Plus, I can definitely see another Tudor Sub somewhere in my future (if prices continue to correct a little more and I find a nice no-date one), and this could also be used for that, as well.
(as an aside I was rather amused that there is a Chrono24 seller selling one for £2k)........
I think you'll find that is the VAT that you paid!

I quite like my Tudor 9315 bracelet tbh… but they are indeed quite hard to find especially in bearable shape, or at a reasonable price

I just sold Tony that rather nice 79090 which I wore with a more modern 93150 bracelet which I still think feels in keeping with the vintage feel of the watch.
I have the original 9315 with 380 links that my 76100 came with and although it’s in what I consider to be very good condition, it’s too big for my skinny wrists and I can’t see myself getting any folded links removed. A 93150 is a better option IMO.

I am doing some research on it as the serial number is a strange one - very late and close to issued watches from SA and the MN. The case back looks to have been polished / skimmed at some point as well.
And the caseback? I think that a lack of endlink scars on the lugs can also indicate that it was primarily used on a strap not bracelet, often the case with an issued watch.
Actually, it is more the opposite. Deep endlink scars indicate use of the OEM bracelet and rule out most uses in the military
Recently picked up a black merc hands 76100 with the 9315/380 end links.
It’s not a minter but it’s fair condition for a 1984 watch.
It’s on an Erika’s strap as I’m not a bracelet man and it’s great.
It’s displaced my BB54 which I may end up selling as I’m strictly a 1 watch man these days.
As it’s on 24/7 I need to get it pressure tested just to be sure it’s good in water.
Can’t go wrong for the price.. a Rolex 1680 is 3.5-4 times the price.. is it that much better?
The case back is stock but highly polished and some the writing is a bit shallow / buffed out, if you look under strong light there seems to be some writing removed in the centre (marks and indents not polished out)
The lugs and lug gaps do have marks but it has been polished during its life
The serial and model number are still very clear though.
The case back has a few markings that look similar to known SA navy watch makers marks but it is still inconclusive as to if it is an SA watch.
Quick update, the new 78500 bracelet has arrived in branch for my collection. So 10 days against a quoted 6 week delivery is pretty good, well done Fraser Hart
Mine arrived a week after ordering. I just need to find a time window to pick it up!
Edit: I wonder if they can order the appropriate hollow ground Rolex screwdriver? I shall ask

No, I was clearly told that this is the RRP, which would definitely include VAT, and it is what I paid. I have not been asked for further payment.
It is, however, not inclusive of other mark-ups...........

Given that if you multiply what you paid by 1.2 (to account for VAT @ 20%) you come almost exactly to £610, it sounds to me like you were in luck the day you bought it! Perhaps a mistake by an inexperienced assistant?
I have one vintage and one modern.
Collected mine, very nice.
No mention of them forgetting to add the VAT, so I didn't ask....
I still think that I paid the RRP, and that the others are asking for VAT on top because they can.
I've owned 4 Tudor subs. I sold the date models (a couple of 79090s and a blue 76100) a year or two before the prices went nuts. I still have a 94010 no date that I bought head only for $2500 (which I thought was stupid money). The 94010 came to me with RSC service papers and the anchor and polishing cloth. I bought the box from a dealer in Germany for $75 many years ago. It's not the right box for my watch but it looks nice. The bracelet is a Rolex 93150 but I do have a Tudor 9315 folded link that I kept when I sold the 76100 since the buyer wanted the newer 78500 solid link instead.
