My wife just sent me a pic of the Zenith's movement.
It still has the original clear plastic cover over the top.
Been sorting through my watch cupboard and its amazing what I have pulled out.
Just taken a pic of these two while the light is still not too bad.
Zenith Sporto from 1952, still has the original crown and a rather stylish pair of initals on the caseback.
And a nice Audax Fortis...

That Zenith is a peach
We don’t see enough of this sort of thread these days, it’s all ROLEXROLEXROLEX, so thanks for posting it Neil. More please.
I echo the comment above about the Zenith, lovely little piece, that.
That Zenith look's very nice indeed. I think it's worth getting cleaned up a bit and service then worn with pride. Really nice watch / find.

Now that’s an awesome piece! Very very nice

love the Zenith!!!!!!!!! great barn find
I like the Zenith.
We should appreciate vintage watches a lot more than we do.
I’ll go against the grain and say I really like the Fortis. Great case.
Both handsome watches, but the Zenith nails it - love the syringe hands, and the overall look reminds me of my now sadly-departed Nivrel Coeur-de-la-Sarre, but with (not-particularly-) small seconds subdial. Ripe for revival that look

Thanks everybody for your kind remarks.
Found a Favre Leuba Duo Matic too but I sent it to have a replacement second hand as it had the wrong type on it.
Cheers,
Neil.
Both really nice and worthy of a quick tidy up and service I reckon.
