I'm using this to share a screen between a RetroPi and a Mac but it doesn't seem to support 4K: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Three way spitter. Automatic detection seems a bit hit and miss. Picture quality is good.
Hi all
Bit confused about HDMI splitters
Dug out my old raspberry pi today and have set it up as a retro games emulator with retropie.
TV only has 3 HDMI ports, currently all used for SkyQ, Sonos Beam and Xbox One, so i need a Splitter to share the feed with the xbox. Thought it would be a few quid on amazon, but it seems most are aimed at working the other way, 1 input to 2 output screens, plus 4k seems to not be supported by all, some need power, others don't. What do I need to share a TV input, support the 4k from the xbox and hopefully switch automatically based on which unit is powered on. Cheap would be nice too
Cheers
Brighty

I’ve got this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076VJ7XZV for a pc and laptop into a single screen. Says it supports 4K but I’ve not tested it for that. Pretty cheap and you just push the button to switch.
I have this one. 5 inputs 1 output.

Works a treat. Auto switches between PS4, Xbox and Amazon 4k box.
