This is nothing new. I have a 30-odd year old work colleague that collects these and goes to conventions. The amount he spends on a 'Charazard' collectable is insane. But as they say...gotta catch 'em all!

Cripes! I purchased a number of packs of Pokemon cards when I worked in Japan back in the 90's. I kept them unopened for years but they aren't where I thought I'd stored them away so may have been binned by the Mrs, although she denies all knowledge currently....
