Had this for a week and loved it in fact I think I'm going to buy one

I quite like these (love the handset and markers) but maybe not enough to spend £500 on one. How is the quality compared to your regular Tuna?
They do feel pretty good but my 300m Tuna does feel more solid, that could just be down to size, but there again you are paying a lot more for one
I believe they are around £1300 these days vs £500 of the mini .
On the plus side the mini feels great on the wrist and the strap suppled it works very well with it and its an auto vs quartz which some people prefer
I'm sure you well be able to get the watch new for around £450 as there is always a deal to be had on new Seiko's
Thanks. I believe it's not an LE so I'll hopefully be able to see one or as you say, try one with a discount off RRP.
I'm a Seiko fanboy of sorts, but this looks a bit to much like one or two of the many solar offerings that can be bought for a few hundred quid.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
To be honest, Seiko has so many shrouded / semi-shrouded divers, it’s hard for something like that to stand out.
I’m seeing that from the perspective of having a 300m Tuna and two Gen 1 Monsters.

These are much smaller than the others and are full steel so no plastic
Making them a easy to wear watch not as heavy as the standard Tuna
I do like that. I have one of the Solar ones and it is incredibly comfortable to wear.
