    Unapproved Visitor Message?

What’s the script with these? Just had a PM from a long-standing member that’s tagged as an Unapproved visitor message. I don’t seem to have any option to delete it.

I switched my visitor messages off after a member tried to conduct business on it in front of the whole forum.

PM is way to go if someone has something to say to you.

So George wants your wallet - see, the whole forum can see it.

First time I’ve come across this feature in my time here.

I hadn't come across it until some idiot used it, then I got shut damn quick.

Christ only knows what these people are thinking when they post on it.

I suspect they do it inadvertently.

    Mine is also off.

The buyer in the OP’s case will be glad it wasn’t a cheeky low ball!

That would seem the likely scenario.

Not sure if anyone uses the feature out of choice.

Somebody used it once to alert me to a full inbox, which was better than posting a thread as usually happens. You can delete them using 'Moderation Tools'.

Using it for a full inbox is just as pointless as starting a thread about it.

Whenever someone tries to send a message to a full inbox, the receiving member gets an email about it.

    If
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.

    If
Funnily enough I saw the visitor message before receiving a system email, and there was an element of urgency.
